It’s a very sad day that we say Goodbye to a really amazing woman. Often referred to as the all-time queen of country music, I think it’s easy to say she was one of the all-time Queens of Humanity. A woman who lived by her convictions. A woman who loved everyone. An amazing Ally to the LGBTQAI community. A woman who was constantly giving back to her country, her people, and her fans through her philanthropy. They just don’t make them like Dolly Parton anymore. This is a very sad day in music. We have lost a true legend.

Well before his days producing arguably Madonna’s greatest album, Ray of Light, I was blown away first by his solo chill albums in the late 80’s Strange Cargo 1-3, and then by his remixes on the Prince Batman soundtrack. So of the most experimental club remixes I had ever heard. I could literally point to his remix of Electric Chair as one of the first tracks that made be want to be a remix producer.
