Weighing in at 975 lbs, this wild Maine bluefin tuna is the largest, and one of the most beautiful fish we’ve ever had the chance to work with. Pretty special to have a fish like this in our kitchen. Come eat it.

who needs lobster when you have uni? maine uni season starts today! try it in a hand roll, add it to a don, or enjoy it in its purest form — sashimi.

mackerel season! our favorite fish in the sea. tuna’s love it, and so do we. mackerel is packed with omega-3s, vitamins & minerals. we cure ours in salt then lightly pickle in vinegar, and roll it up with scallions, shiso, and pickled ginger. available as a maki or hand roll!

we love a good salad. some may say we are just as much a salad restaurant as we are a sushi restaurant… and they’re all gluten-free!

it’s green crab week! we’re running a special maki roll with asparagus, crispy tofu, shaved scallions, broiled green crab curry mayo & cilantro.

these guys are super destructive to our ecosystem, and have a large invasive impact on other local seafood we love…

SHELLFISH —
One green crab can consume up to 40 half-inch soft-shell clams in a day. Green crabs also eat bay scallops, mussels, and oysters.

NATIVE CRUSTACEANS —
Green crabs compete with native lobsters and crabs for food and territory. They also prey on smaller juvenile lobsters and crabs.

EELGRASS —
In digging for food, green crabs destroy eelgrass beds that provide habitat to a wide variety of fish, shellfish, migratory birds, and turtles.
