Portland Movement Arts rebranded this winter to "Flying Tortoise Academy." We will remain the your neighborhood space to practice healing art forms from a multitude of cultures. We find strength and balance in practices from India, China, Russia and South Korea. Moving forward we will continue to provide a safe space for LGBTQ and ethnically diverse students and teachers. In 2014 Todd and Barbara sold this studio's former incarnation, PYA to Josef Haber. Josef brought on a team of experienced martial arts teachers of styles including Capoeira, BaGuaZhang, TaiJiQuan, XingYiQuan, DaBeiQuan and Shaolin.
