The Edge
This one is inspired by a section of another painting, but really it has become something all on its own. It started as a horizontal abstraction, but as I progressed further with the piece, I really saw that it needed to be vertical. To me it represents an aerial view of a coastline. What do you see?

I’ll be in Bend, Oregon this weekend for Art in the High Desert showing my work in booth 309 in Riverbend park! Friday 5-8, Saturday 10-6, Sunday 10-4. I will have original paintings and reproductions, come say hi and look at some of the new work.

This piece captures what I saw while backpacking near Brokentop and No Name Lake in the Oregon Cascades. Can’t wait to get back here and paint:)
