When a carbon frame fractures, slapping wet tape over the break isn't a fix; it's just a cover-up waiting for trail forces to take over. Real carbon restoration relies on material science, precise layup, and ultrasonic testing to get you back on the bike with complete peace of mind.

Sometimes we see "repaired" bikes that were made whole again by a broad range of hands, some skilled, some not so much... Each time we get the opportunity to scan these "repairs" we gain insight into what our competitors are doing and what they are not. This one had a major impact on the bottom of the down tube, as well as an old patch job from a blown out rivet nut hole.

When we repair damage, we first remove ALL of the damaged material, clean the area extensively, and use pre-preg carbon that not only matches the fiber angles in the original laminate structure but also matches the weight of the original layers. We've come to this process through over 18 years of scientific experimentation and testing our results.
