Sarah Slipper’s ‘The Other Half of We’ returns to the stage OCT 23+24 for Fall Frontiers! This dramatic duet was originally choreographed in 2023 and was inspired by the absurdist and repetitive text of Edward Albee’s ‘Marriage Play’.

We are so excited to offer this rare opportunity for the Portland community to move with Akira Uchida! Akira Uchida
In this contemporary dance workshop dancers will be lead through a free flowing guided warm-up introducing them to Akira’s unique creative voice, followed by phrase work from his repertoire to dive deeper into his work.

As the company dives into rehearsals for the 2026/27 season, we are reflecting back on the highlights of our summer such as the SUMMER DANCE PLATFORM!
Summer Dance Platform is a special time of year because we get to welcome dancers from all over the country into our space to work with our Company Artists learning NW Dance Project repertoire, creating new work, and developing their technique and artistry in daily workshops and technique classes.
