I had the honor of performing on the Datura stage and that felt really special. You can feel how much care Rachel Brice puts into this space. Every detail has attention, warmth and soul in it, and it makes the whole experience of dancing there feel different ❤️

And of course, is coming again this year. If you’re in Portland, Oregon, or anywhere in the US, come. With .luberg behind the organization, I already know it’s going to be beautiful.

And yes, still training my stamina with belly flutters 😂 My abs are suffering, but we continue. ✊✊✊

Rachel Brice is doing a intensive October 27 - 31, ending a week of technique and vocabulary deliciousness with a Halloween Dance Party!

Over the course of this 16-hour intensive, we’ll begin each day with slow, thoughtful preparation before moving into focused drills and a detailed exploration of combinations. We’ll finish each session with an hour of group improvisation: putting the combinations into practice, responding to one another, and enjoying what emerges in the moment.

🎃Schedule:

​Tues-Fri : 12pm - 4pm
​Saturday: Halloween Dance Party
​
✏️Class Topics:

​- 90 minutes Yoga Asana for Conditioning
​- 60-90 minutes Datura Combos with a focus on technique
​- 60 minutes Shadowing, simple formations and Group Improvisation

​Experience with group improvisation is helpful, but not required. This intensive is designed for intermediate and advanced dancers.
