Local green and yellow romano beans are now in season.

Also known as fagiolini piattoni or Italian flat beans they are comparative to a string bean or snap pea.
Traditionally cooked with seasonal tomatoes in dishes like piattoni al pomodoro, an Italian side dish with tomatoes, garlic and olive oil.
Best steamed, sautéed or grilled to enhance their taste and texture.

Organic local culinary lavender🪻🪻🪻

Grown, picked and bundled by Sunderland Acres right here in Portland Oregon.

Hidecote lavender, known for its highly aromatic and vibrancy is commonly used for culinary applications such as baking, making simple syrups or dry rubs such as traditional Herbs de Provence using rosemary, thyme and lavender.

This variety of lavender is also grown to encourage bee pollination in the local area.

For a few weeks each summer we offer a large variety of plums and plumcots sourced from Oregon and California. Explore the unique flavors, colors and textures these plums have to offer for the few weeks they are available.
What is a plumcot?
Plumcot is a 50/50 hybrid of a plum and an apricot. They have the texture of a plum and similar aroma and sweetness to an apricot.
