also big thanks to Art Design Xchange for hosting me and to Bronwen Roberts and Lucion Hall for both crushing solid sets...one day i'll get there...hahaha

if things go right, that day will be FRIDAY, MAY 30th 2025 when i'm opening for Decent Sleep at White Eagle Saloon ...but you'll have to come hang to find out...

shaved my head and hollered some songs for a while last saturday afternoon in downtown Portland. i don't typically dig playin' "day shows" but it was actually a really good time! big thanks to for having me out and being such lovely hosts...

playin' again in a few weeks on Friday, May 2nd for an art exhibition event...they accidentally billed me by my "real name" on the flyer and that's the first time that's ever happened but i'm still keeping it Casual... and playing music as well...

still working on the new Casual Scene album due out later this year. it's taking longer than expected but you can come hang and hear some of the brand new ones at the next show...!?! they're pretty decent i think...?!?

playin' a fun lil' set next Saturday (April 12th) for 'Record Store Day' at Tender Loving Empire () 412 SW 10th Ave in downtown Portland, Oregon from 3:30-4:00pm...other local musical acts before and after me as well all throughout the day so it's a whole thing and it's gonna be rad...

it's also a FREE shindig so grab your friends and your grandmas and your cousins and your neighbors (etc) and come hang out and buy some records and listen to me (among others) bang on my guitar and holler and sing for a bit...i'm gonna play some old ones and some new ones...should be a hoot!?!

this weekend was a trip...!?! big thanks to Mother Foucault's Bookshop for hosting me and so many other cool all-ages events and for being a hub of creativity and community and congratulations on the new shop location (715 SE Grand). looking forward to what the future has in store!

also big thanks to all the nice folks that took their time to come out on a Saturday night and hang and have a good time with us...y'all are seriously what makes those things really special...

next Casual Scene shows aren't until May; currently recording the new album The Casual Scene hopefully due out later this year...?! summer...fall...?!?! we'll see...haha
