Walk After Christ

amazing happened! We were ministering downtown Portland and Joe, Kaden and Chelsea were ministering to a girl on the street who said she was being tormented by demons. She had been a medium and practiced many occult things. She ended up giving her life to Jesus and getting delivered from multiple demons on the street. They asked her husband if he wanted prayer and he said “No, I’m a muslim.”

While she was getting delivered, God put on my heart to ask him his story. He started sharing a long battle of encountering Jesus then going to witchcraft. He had been trying all kinds of different religions. Then the Lord gave me a word over his life that had details that he never told anyone. I shared with him the Gospel and what it means to follow Jesus. He repented and invited Jesus to be Lord of his life.

Right then, his wife came up and said she never felt more peace and that she had been delivered of demons and gave her life to Jesus. She said she was getting baptized and he said, ‘I want to get baptized today!” Then, I got a word of knowledge about the girls spine and she had scoliosis. After a quick prayer she felt warmth fill her back, all the pain left and her spine went straight.

They came back to the church and got baptized. He came out of the water and I started commanding demons to leave. He said he felt a heaviness squeeze his heart and then his whole body got warm in the cold water and then he felt really light that thing left him. I prayed for him to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, he immediately started speaking in tongues. His got baptized after that and we prayed for her to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and immediate she started speaking in tongues.

After that, we gave them bibles and they have been reading through the Bible. They came to church Sunday and were plowing through the bible the night before. They almost read the whole book of John together in 1 night.

God is so good! He is not a tradition or philosophy. He is a person that we can experience and come to know. When you experience Him, you realize He is what you’ve been searching for your whole life.”

This Saturday, over 15 people prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord! Two of them came back to the church, got baptized in water, delivered from demons and filled with the Holy Spirit! Thank you Jesus!!!
