Many of you know that Shylo’s family abandoned her at 9 years of age and moved to a fancy golf course house with a pool out of state. This broke my heart after knowing them since Shylo was 9 weeks old. I fostered her for 2 years, interviewed 15+ families, and finally found her forever mom. Shylo@is living her BEST life and I get to see her monthly for nail trimming. We celebrated her 11th birthday with pup cups and all the fixins! Thank you to amazing people that care for senior pups! You’re a treasure! 🐾💞🥳
Operant Conditioning is removing that which is reinforcing (touch, proximity, attention) as a consequence for unwanted behavior. If you jump the fun stops. When you’re polite, you get all the snuggles! Loving working with these cuties from Sandy Creek Bernedoodles 🥰🐾💞

I spent several months helping this sweet boy find his new dad. Some families take on beings yet their life doesn’t match the needs of the dog. There is no shame in that… and acknowledging what isn’t working is actually more loving than trying to force something to flow. This is not to say give up on dogs… it’s to honestly honor bandwidth vs. needs. Be mindful of the breed of dog you are choosing. Ask me or others for guidance and coaching. In the end… this is a “happily ever after” story and I’m so grateful I could help.
