Did you know we are adopting out plants at BIZ CUBE? Here's a little bit about why business owners need to study (and live with!) plants:

Roots before growth (Strong foundations matter)

Before a plant reaches for the sun, it grows downward. It anchors itself, develops resilience, and quietly gathers everything it will need to flourish. Our lives (and businesses) work the same way. Character, habits, relationships, and purpose are the roots that support everything people eventually see above the surface.

Plants have a lot to teach us. Putting down strong roots, feeding the roots, making sure they have plenty of room (but not too much room) is important. This concept applies to growing a business. If your operations aren't figured out, getting (and keeping!) more clients will be 100x harder. If you want your business to scale, you need to start with the roots.

Did you know we started Spiral & Sage (aka our Plant Adoption Agency) inside BIZ CUBE? Help us help our local nonprofit community by adopting a plant AND improving the feng shui at your space. This month, 50% of all plant adoptions benefit Northwest Family Services.

Meet Penny aka "Pilea Peperomioides." This young gal has been with us for just about six months and she's thriving. There's even a new baby leaf tucked into the middle (which you can't see from this angle, but we'll share a video).

Penny is whimsical and lucky, and she would make a fabulous addition to your space. Guess what? She's available for adoption. She's pet safe and -- with the right care -- may grow to be 2-3 feet tall!

50% of the adoption fee is split with our nonprofit of the month, which is currently Northwest Family Services. Stop into BIZ CUBE and we'll introduce you!

This month we are helping Northwest Family Services gather school supplies for their Children of Incarcerated Parents program. Please tell your friends and bring school supplies of all sorts to BIZ CUBE. We're also gathering food pantry items and cash donations!

Just a heads up that we will be closed this Friday in observance of the 4th of July.

One of the fun things about our location is that we overlook the Clackamas River right at High Rocks. We love that our community is trying to keep swimmers safe.

Just remember, if you come to High Rocks Park, the business parking is by permit only. Don't get your car towed!

Oregon City recently signed an agreement with Clackamas County and Gladstone that provides the funding for lifeguards to continue watching over High Rocks on holiday weekends in the summer, and up to eight days when the heat index is forecasted to exceed 90 degrees, like this Sunday.
