Join day laborers and Voz and community partners for a worker-led community action at Mall 205. Together, we will demand that property management:

1) Meet directly with worker representatives and Voz.
2) Work toward a safe and agreed-upon hiring area.
3) Allow workers to return and seek employment without retaliation.

This is about more than a place to stand; it is about workers having the power, dignity, and the right to provide for their families and build a future without being pushed aside.

We’re teaming up with the NE Broadway Business Association to help local businesses understand their rights, prepare for possible ICE activity, and build workplaces where immigrant workers know they won’t have to face these moments alone.

Join us as we bring our very first mural to life at the Voz Worker Center, celebrating the strength of immigrant workers and the community that has built Voz over the years. 🎨

Created with artists Yanely Rivas Maldonado, Roberto Orán, and Lupe “Lupito” Garcia, this mural will tell our shared story and reflect the future we’re building together.

Come paint alongside us, meet the artists & day laborers behind the art, enjoy food, snacks, and drinks (feel free to bring something to share!), and connect with the community that makes Voz possible.

We’ll also have the England vs. Norway game on! ⚽
