I’m so bad at remembering to get shots of the backs of costumes, so I’m glad I was on it this round. 😅 Freya’s skirt was fully freehand painted, and the wig was the first real intensive wig work I’ve done for a costume. Shoutout to for help with her macrame cape! ❤️

Now that the craziness of ECCC is over I’m excited to share I’m going to be a guest and cosplay judge at at the end of May! I’ll be there along with & .schmolive.art running panels and judging the costume contest. 😄

Happy Tuesday here’s more Freya. 😌 I loved making this costume—it really allowed me to noodle on so many small bits and hone quite a few different skill sets.

Nothing I say will sufficiently capture how floored I am by the photos took of my Freya costume last weekend. I had so much fun working with Aleks to get these, and he perfectly captured the 80s fantasy vibe!!!

Big ole dump for Freya since it’s been a minute. Even though I wore her Friday of FanExpo, this costume isn’t finished. Swipe thru to see her at various stages of done. The STLs for her belt disc, coins, and pendant are from NynCrafts on Etsy, and were printed in TPU flex filament as well as resin. I used acrylic paints to finish them and am really pleased with the results.

Hey everyone! I shared this via stories a little while ago but ICYMI I’m going to be a cosplay guest at this year! I’ll be there all three days with a booth displaying some of my work, and am running a panel on breaking down large costume builds for new cosplayers! The dates for the panel are TBD but I’ll post details as soon as the schedule is up. I’m super excited for the show and can’t wait to talk shop with other cosplayers!
