By listening to what's in the walls, floorboards, joists and moldings, and combining it with our clients’ personalities and visions, we’ve been taking a page from history and writing a story all its own. Since 1997, we’ve been listening to what is in the walls and floorboards, joints and moldings, and have combined it with our clients’ personalities and visions. With respect for the past and a vision for the future, we create stories of crafted, common sense solutions and buildable projects.
We’re having a great time at NestFest! It’s been inspiring to talk to creators and vendors, to flex our creative skills and to be surrounded by beautiful pattern, color and texture.

Free Kitchen Design Event - Saturday morning, Oct 10th
Here's a fun way to start off your Saturday on October 10th: join us for a free kitchen presentation at Chown Hardware, from 10am-12pm! Bring a friend or two and get inspired.
We'll share ideas and solutions from our kitchen remodels, and you'll enjoy coffee, light bites, good company and a chance to browse Chown's showroom on a Saturday morning.
Tickets are free with a reservation, though we'll be taking donations for our friends .

This Saturday & Sunday, 9/19-9/20 - Portland's NestFest
NestFest is a free event that brings Portland’s creative community together to celebrate home design through inspiring spaces, hands-on experiences, local makers, and ideas that shape how we live.
Wander through NestFest with a friend (or two or three) for a fun, relaxing time. Anne will be on a panel called The Stories we Keep alongside other creative folks at 3pm on Sunday, so come and listen. There will be other speakers, creative activities and great food, too on both Saturday and Sunday.

2026 Fall Festival at Wallace Park!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Fall Festival at Wallace Park last Saturday, whether neighbors from NW Portland or visiting from other part of town (and beyond). Joe, Bri and Jon had fun watching the dog parade, visiting the booths and vendors and testing the kiddos on construction and house-related knowledge.

Historic 1880 Italianate House Rehabilitation
Our teams were so proud to help restore the historic Fried-Durkheimer House, a.k.a. the first Morris Marks House. We measured, photographed, and carefully cut it in two; it was expertly relocated by , then put back together and restored by our crew, and now sits at SW Broadway Drive where it meets SW Grant Street.
