The purpose of the National Mission Advancement initiative is to lift up the message of Jesus Christ and the work of Christian ministry in and through the YMCA across the country. We are united with a number of other efforts in this rich harvest field. The US Missions Network, the former John 17:21 Conferences and other similar programs have made great strides in connecting, encouraging and training YMCA leaders, staff and constituents. Together we will preserve, nurture and advance the historic Christian purpose and principles of the YMCA
