A lovely and unlikely encounter…
Almost a year ago, Will, our neighbor Jon, and I were celebrating the release of our album, “77” with a 7-mile run that started and ended at our old apartment complex, The Colony House.
As we were finishing our run, a kind woman waved us over to chat. Thankfully, Jon was quick on the draw and captured this wonderful encounter with an even more wonderful person... Ms. Kay.

I know Ms. Kay would also want us to mention that a lot of the conversation we had (but not seen here), centered around her love for Allen Levi’s books, “Theo of Golden” and “The Last Sweet Mile”, both of which are incredible works of art that we highly recommend reading :)
When I Was Younger turned 12 yesterday.
Kinda hard to believe…
After all these years, it still feels like we’re those same kids just trying to figure out what we want to say and how we want to say it.
Watching videos like this reminds us there’s beauty in that uncertainty. We could’ve never imagined how far these songs would travel or how many lives they’d become a part of.
Thank you for carrying these songs with you all these years. It means more to us than you know. Y’all are the best. ❤️
