FOREST PLAYGROUP IS A FREE,
PARENT- FACILITATED PROGRAM THAT AIMS
TO PROVIDE A SPACE FOR CHILDREN TO
EXPLORE, LEARN AND INTERACT OUTSIDE.
The Forest Playgroup is a free, parent- facilitated program that aims to provide a space for like-aged children to explore, learn and interact outside. Integrating principles from child-led educational models, our program has activities to support our children’s natural curiosity and developmental learning. With a holistic, family-focus, we are working to cultivate a positive, active and inspiring culture for parents, and fill an important niche within our community.

I am floored. We threw this out there, dreaming that 100 kids would register to participate in this Kindness Challenge. Within the first 24hrs of promotion we surpassed 100 kids. Now 48hrs in, and we are close to 300!
{insert most cheesy comment here you can imagine, with me with weepy eyes and a smile ear to ear!}
And then, join us!!! and help spread the word to loop more kids into this.
The "Kids Kindness Challenge" invites kids to engage in service, perform acts of kindness, and inspire moments of gratitude throughout the month of February. We're hoping to support kids in activities every day throughout the month that connect them with themselves, their community, and their local environment. Hosted by Wild Maine and Maine Forest Playgroup, it’s an entirely volunteer-driven initiative and FREE to participate. We have two versions available to support kids ages 2+!
