π We are proud to celebrate six graduates from our in-house Earn While You Learn CNA program! These dedicated team members are building meaningful careers while helping meet the growing need for compassionate caregivers in our community.
Each graduate brings a unique story and passion for caregiving. One is a registered nurse in their home country, while another has been serving in our Assisted Living community and chose to take the next step in their professional journey.
Congratulations to all six graduates on this incredible accomplishment! We are grateful for your commitment to our residents and can't wait to see the impact you will continue to make at The Cedars. π

We are proud to partner with Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine as we continue to strengthen oral health practices for our residents. Thank you for the recognition and for your ongoing support and collaboration!
We were in Portland this week spending time with the team at the Cedars. This team has implemented the MOTIVATE oral health education program at their Center and were meeting with Lunder-Dineenβs Denise OConnell, post program, to continue to examine how to implement what they learned and to continue to explore additional opportunities for program enhancement. They are leaders in Maine by making oral health a priority for their staff and for their residents.

π¦ A little visitor getting ready for a big journey! Residents at The Cedars have been raising monarch butterflies, and each release has been a special event. Watching them emerge, spread their wings, and head off on their migration has been nothing short of amazing. Safe travels, monarch! πβ¨

A big thank you to Nick, our Life Enrichment Manager, for creating a fun and meaningful afternoon for residents at The Hoffman Center. The familiar smell of roasting marshmallows sparked stories, memories, and conversations of campfires and family traditions from years gone by. Sometimes the sweetest moments are the ones that bring us back to cherished memories. β€οΈ
