Formerly Portland’s King of Late-Night, now entertaining audiences in Ross Angeles, CA!
Aaron Ross hosts Portland's weekly late-night talk show, "WHO'S the ROSS?" which has performed for the past 8+ years in the NW, logging 670+ shows in that time. For the past six years, Ross has also been the host of "YOU WHO!" (rock n roll kid's show), and is an emcee/field reporter for the Pickathon Music Festival! His acting resume includes a guest starring role on NBC's GRIMM, the upcoming movie HEARTTHROB, + a litany of national & local commercials, including Intel, Papa Murphy's, Doritios, & Nintendo. Ross has performed at SXSW the past four years, and also had his own hour-long special for Comedy Central Live in 2012.

Enjoy a supercut of the full Mr Rooter commercial campaign I starred in, plus the audition that booked me the job.
Meet “Terry Try.”
He works for the plumbing competition called “We Try.”
The casting breakdown said he is “A kind, genuine salesman. You feel comfortable having him in your home, the only problem is he’s not good at plumbing.” Mr Rooter used Terry as a “what not to do” for plumbing service.
I was featured in their entire campaign, and it was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had on set, because they let me play and bring my own mix of humor & heart to the character.
You wouldn’t know it seeing these spots, but Terry lives with his parents, has been loved his whole life, and dreams of being an interpretive dancer. He does plumbing during the day to get funds for building his parents garden, which they are very proud of him for creating. He’s had one serious relationship, and that was before the pandemic. Terry is happy to be in your home because he wants a friend. He’s great at chatting & empathizing, he’s terrible at plumbing - a job he got through his Uncle’s company.
Humor isn’t the only thing on display in FREE SAMPLES - A Dad Joke Movie…
There’s plenty of Heart too - like in this scene where our main character, David Kirk Connelly finds out his son is releasing TikToks at his father’s expense.
On top of eliciting a few laughs through joyous interactions with the public, we wanted to use this film to explore Father/Son dynamics, especially when divorce is involved.
Our only “plant” in the film, the wonderful 👋🏻Angie Jho Lee reveals that Dad is now BIIIIIG on TikTok, but to his surprise as the butt of his jokes. His son, played by the movie’s director Ash Szeto-Hanson tries to explain, but like many Dad’s, David is unable to express his emotions.

Our 20s were littered with excursions like these, so it was the most joyous experience to jump back in the saddle again, roaming wiser, freer & to some of the wildest destinations we’d ever visited.
