Queer Craft Maine

Thank you so much to all who shared and supported our Hadestown fundraiser. We were able to raise $124 for the Maine Solidarity Fund (through Presente Maine). Please continue to donate directly to them as well!

Join us for a matinee screening of the professionally recorded Hadestown Musical on Saturday, July 25th at 1pm at the Entertainment Luxury Cinemas in South Portland. We have been working with the theater to bring this recording to South Portland for the last month, when the next closest place to watch that opening weekend was originally in Newmarket, New Hampshire.

In the wake of the killing of a community member in Biddeford this week by I.C.E., we are now using this event to raise funds for the Maine Solidarity Fund. 80% of proceeds will go directly to the Maine Solidarity Fund while the remaining funds will go to continue supporting inclusive arts programming such as this. We strongly encourage folks to donate directly to Johan Sebastian Duran Guerrero's family and the Maine Solidarity Fund (https://linktr.ee/presentemaine), and volunteer your time to those organizations and others directly supporting immigrants here in Maine such as Food for All Services (https://foodforallservices.org/) and Maine Needs (https://www.maineneeds.org/). If you are still looking for a way to support, this fundraiser is a chance for to join together and sing along to a musical about grief and solidarity, while raising money to help our immigrant community members.

Tickets are pay what you can with a sliding scale of $20-$50 per person. Notaflof. Please message us if you need a free spot. Tickets available at linktr.ee/rainbowartscollective
