My heart is so full today 🥹 I so greatly appreciate everyone who came out to Live at Madrid’s last night to see andromedaband4, 𝙱 𝙾 𝚁 𝙳 𝙴 𝚁 𝙻 𝙸 𝙽 𝙴 𝚂 and the Xander Nelson crew. To see so many familiar faces from so many different walks of life gathered in one place to celebrate my new record was such an honor, and something I don’t take for granted in the slightest. It means the world to look out in the crowd and see all of you, and know you took the time to come and support.

I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love to make a living… but last night was bigger than that. With the release of this record I made with so many people who are so important to me - not to mention after such a long absence from putting out music under my own name - I feel like I’ve gotten a piece of my soul back that I had been missing for years.

To the men on stage with me, the other bands, the sound/photo/video crew, the merch team, the venue staff, and everyone in attendance - thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it. I love you all ♥️

What’s a special event without special guests? 🎩

The album release show is TOMORROW NIGHT at Live at Madrid’s, and boy do we have some treats planned for you. Keep an eye out for on-stage appearances by my friends Andrew LaVogue, norahaynesmusic, Manuel, Conor McGrory and andromedaband4’s Carter B!

Album visuals are just as important as the music 💿

As proud as I am of the music on my new album, I want to highlight that I’m equally excited about the accompanying visuals.

I’ve long been a believer in setting a color scheme to help establish a tone and visual identity for a project. I’ve used purple on the past, and while I liked that, it didn’t fit the new direction “The Art Of Getting By” was going in, so I needed to mix it up. My favorite color has been red since I was a little kid, and all of my electric guitars are red… so it was a no brainer which color I was going to lean on.

Enter Josey Stephen Cary. Suggested to me by my boss and mentor at Maine Academy of Modern Music, Jeff Shaw, I was immediately struck by Josey’s distinct visual style, and mixed media approach. Other than relaying to him my color scheme (and a tiny little bit of direction), I basically gave him carte blanche, and BOY did he knock it out of the park. To this day, I can’t believe this amazing artwork gets to accompany my new record.

All of this stunning artwork (with lyrics, credits, and some fantastic photographs taken by Liv Ivy spliced in) will soon be available digitally, and will be included in future physical copies of the record. Good visuals help set albums apart from the pack, and I am beyond honored to have these images as a part of mine. ♥️
