Today, our community came together as our very own Mikey bathed us in sound. 〰️

A chance to quiet the noise, calm the mind, and simply be present together.

The men of 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 spent the day at the orchard in Unity gathering apples, stacking wood, and preparing for the season ahead.

𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 — 𝐏𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐮𝐤𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝟑𝟐 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲!

A spiritual director, lifelong student, and original thinker, Piers brings depth and an unmistakable presence to the recovery community. He asks difficult questions. He makes room for mystery. And he invites people to take their own spiritual lives seriously.

His influence runs deep in the rooms and in the work we do at Maine Recovery Collective. Today, we’re grateful for the man, the work, and the decades he has spent sharing it.

A beautiful weekend at The Alcyon Center for the women of 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞. 🌿🤍

Gardening, chopping wood, making applesauce, and slowing down for meditation. Simple moments of connection, purpose, and gratitude.

The women of 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 spent yesterday afternoon collecting earthly treasures and grounding themselves in nature. 🌿

Recovery teaches us to slow down, stay present, and find gratitude in the things we may have once overlooked.

Connection. Presence. Gratitude. 🤍

Rusty’s transformation has been profound. Watching him find his voice, grow in confidence, and step into a leadership role within the house has been incredible. He became an invaluable resource for newcomers, and his willingness to listen, stay open, and remain dedicated to the process has brought a genuine light to our community.

And then there’s “Sweet Pete.” Pete has led by example from day one. He gives without expecting recognition, builds others up without judgment, and is always willing to lend a hand before anyone has to ask. His integrity shows in the small things — the things you do simply because they are right, even when no one is watching.

We are incredibly proud of the men they have become and grateful for the impact they’ve had on the Metanoia and MRC community.

Yesterday, the women of 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 visited a beautiful four-acre orchard and future self-sustaining farm in Unity, Maine. 🍎

Along with apple picking, they explored more than 80 varieties of fruit-bearing trees and learned about organic farming and homeopathic remedies.

A meaningful day of learning, connection, and time spent in nature. 🌱
