The nights are getting colder, and the beers are getting darker. This week we welcomed several of our favorite stouts back to the store, with classics like Sierra Nevada's Narwhal, Oskar Blues' Ten Fidy, and Brooklyn Brewing's Four Roses Barrel Aged Black Ops and their Black Chocolate Stout. These join the 45 other stouts that we carry in the store, from dry Irish stouts to boozy barrel-aged flavor bombs. If you're a stout lover, we've got something you're going to love!

We received a very special beer this morning from England's Siren Craft Brew in their 2024 vintage of Maiden! This is a beer made every year for the brewery's anniversary and each year's version is unique. This year's barleywine was aged in a multitude of barrels using the following blend: Rum: 23%, Tequila: 12%, Rye Whiskey: 10%, Bourbon: 9%, Red Wine: 7%, Banyuls: 7%, Port: 7%, Cognac: 6%, Fresh: 19%. This world class barrel-aged beauty is limited, so grab one while you can!

We received some world-class IPA's today from , including one of their original double IPA's in Stacks on Stacks. Loaded with Citra, Citra Cryo, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo and El Dorado hops, this beer has huge tropical and citrus notes, with just a touch of resin and a smoothness that belies its 8.5% ABV. This DIPA nets a 4.3 on Untappd as is not to be missed by all you hop lovers out there!

We were able to welcome back to the store two wonderful beers from the Polish Browar Fortuna this week! The Komes Baltic Porter and Imperial Stout are back on the shelf, with their big roasty malt notes, full bodied pours, and plenty of alcohol to warm you up on a cool Autumn evening. The Baltic Porter is lagered and super smooth for the 9% it carries and was recognized with a bronze medal at the World Beer Cup. The Imperial Stout is everything you want in a big stout and brings the punch at 12%. Perfect for around a campfire or a nightcap, get them while you can!

What happens when two of our favorite Portland breweries get together and make a delectable dry-hopped saison together? and let us know with This is Happening, a beer with "citrus, earthy, & peppery aromas, a soft medium body, balanced bitterness, and low sweetness" made in honor of LCD Soundsystem and their recent show at Thompson's Point.

A really cool cider just landed on the shelf from that we're very excited to offer. Snakes was pressed in 2023 before being aged in bourbon barrels for two (!!) years. It uses heirloom apples like Rhode Island Greening and Arnold Bittersweet, as well as pippins like Sweet Lil Bastard (best apple name ever?), Blue Wolf, and Hancover Sweet.
