These two are infinitely cooler than I’ll ever be, and every part of their celebration reflected exactly who they are, intentional, effortless, and surrounded by a community that loves them fiercely. It was one of those days where every detail felt authentic because it was rooted in the people, not just the pretty things.

An absolutely stunning day and such an honor to be a small part of it.

Nestled in the meadow at Jenkins Estate, surrounded by towering evergreens and the quiet beauty of the Pacific Northwest, this celebration embraced everything we love about an outdoor wedding. The forest, the open sky, and the love that surrounded them created the perfect backdrop for a day rooted in intention, joy, and new beginnings.

The PNW truly showed off, and it was an honor to help bring this beautiful celebration to life. Congratulations Jessica and Chris!

I’m incredibly honored to have received the Editor’s Choice Award for Event Design at the Oregon Wedding Day Best of event.

This award is especially meaningful because this shoot was created to celebrate the partnership between Portland Event & Design and Jenkins Estate. What started as a creative collaboration has grown into a relationship I’m incredibly grateful for, and this recognition feels like a celebration of everything we’ve built together so far.

A huge thank you to the Oregon Wedding Day team Lauren Mang Alexis Sonja at Iron Diamond for the recognition and support yesterday provide, and an even bigger thank you to the incredible vendor team that brought this vision to life.

24 years.

That’s how long catering has been a part of my life.

It has given me incredible experiences, lifelong friendships, countless lessons, and a front-row seat to some of life’s most meaningful celebrations. I’m incredibly grateful for every client, coworker, venue partner, and vendor who has been part of that journey.

But sometimes growth means turning the page.

I’m excited to share that I’m putting all of my energy and focus into Portland Event & Design.

While catering helped shape who I am and brought me to where I am today, that chapter has come to a close, and I’m fully embracing what’s next. Portland Event & Design is more than a business to me, it’s the culmination of years of experience, creativity, relationship-building, and a genuine love for creating unforgettable events.

To my vendor partners who have continued to support and encourage me through this transition, thank you. Your confidence in me means more than you know.

And a special thank you to Joie for helping bring my vision to life through a beautiful new logo and website. You absolutely knocked it out of the park.
