Birdman meets Jazz meets Haruki Muarakami in a show unlike any other.

Zoom is a contemporary improvisation format the celebrates language and rhythm in a way that creates a truly unique style of theatre.

With only two improvisers, an empty stage and a drummer, Zoom! takes the audience on a rich journey filled with imagery created through narration. Spaces transform from one to another, characters are discovered in these new locations by the performers and scenes are played.

This original format has been performed in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Canberra, Wellington and Reunion Island. It’s been described as Birdman (the movie) for the stage, it’s had audiences transfixed.

Free Improv Workshop!

Join us for a fun afternoon of play from 3-5 PM! In this workshop we will dip our toes into Deep End's unique improv style. Led by Domeka Parker (Artistic Director), this workshop explores a multitude of tools for creating improvisation, from confidence building to skill developing.

No experience of registration is necessary, just show up and we will lead the way!

Over six weeks, you'll build confidence, creativity, spontaneity, collaboration, and public speaking skills while learning Deep End Theater's unique Sound Improv Method.
