Bottoms Up

Originally formed by Ezzat Hawash & Rick Young as the band Last Call, after changes in membership the band was renamed Bottoms Up. The band members are:

Ezzat Hawash - Drums
Ezzat is a German-born Egyptian. He started playing drums and general percussion instruments in his early teens. He is a superintendent for a sheet metal firm in Troutdale. Ezz enjoys working with steel and wood, and the creative process involved with forming art. He has known and played with his bandmates for many years as well as other fine musicians throughout the Portland metro area, however, he's never had as much fun as he is right now with this current band. Paul Smith - Vocals and Guitars

Rick Young - Bass and Vocals
Rick knew from the age of eight that he wanted to play music. He began on violin in grade school, went to guitar and then bass guitar in middle school. He began performing live at 16, and played his first paying gig at 18, having to stay in the back room of the bar between sets. After a decade of playing original music he helped form a cover band in the mid 90's, and has continued playing live since then.
