Landing your product on-shelf is all about getting in front of the right people at the right time.

Last week, I had an awesome opportunity to get in front of some of those people thanks to my good friends at Built Oregon. A few times a year, they pull together a panel of buyers from some big-name local retailers and let small companies like Scratch Treats pitch their products, answer questions, and receive crucial feedback from the people who actually decide what products make it to the grocery shelf.

The prep and coaching before the pitches was excellent, and I had a great time introducing dog treat baking kits to some really cool people. There will be more news to share - but for now it's a big thank you to Shauna & Katharine for helping small businesses grow!

It's a big day at the brand new Pearl District Culinary Farmers Market! Come out, bring your dogs, and taste TONS of local premium food and drinks! Thanks Built Oregon for the awesome opportunity!
