We are still feeling the joy of community in full force!
Last week, our Scholarship Celebration brought together over 200 recipients, their families, volunteers, and donors. Because of every single person who makes our programs possible, we awarded $145,000 across 8 impactful scholarship programs.
When community shows up, we fuel futures and empower the dreams of young people.
Let’s take a moment to cheer for every student recognized and for the readers, donors, sponsors, and volunteers who help make this ripple of impact possible.

In partnership with the Multnomah Athletic Club, we proudly celebrated the recipients of the Al Tauscher Award with six remarkable students and MAC members who are actively engaged in athletics, school, and community. Each recipient received a $300 grant to donate to one of the Foundation’s community partners, making a direct impact beyond their own achievements.
The event was a celebration of dedication, leadership, and service. Candidates for this award inspire others through their participation in extracurricular activities, commitment to their communities, and by demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
This year’s recipients chose to direct their grants to LEAP, Elite Sports Academy and Adaptive Sports NW.
We’re proud to continue uplifting the next generation of changemakers in our community!

What we do best is bring people together to create opportunities — opening doors, building connections, and helping the next generation grow, belong, and thrive.
To everyone who gives, supports, partners, and shows up alongside us: thank you. Your generosity turns moments into momentum, and momentum into opportunity. Because of you, futures are expanded and possibilities grow stronger every day. We are deeply grateful.

You can't finish the race if you're running on empty, and you don't have to run it alone. A Mental Health Awareness Month thought - ask for help, reach out to those that can walk with you and provide the resources you need to thrive. 💚

At the Multnomah Athletic Foundation, we believe that access to education changes lives—and teachers are at the heart of that mission. Every day, teachers inspire, empower, and open doors for students, helping them grow into leaders, athletes, and changemakers.
This week, we honor the incredible educators who make a lasting impact on their students and communities. Your dedication fuels the future—and we’re so grateful for all you do.
Tell us: Which teacher made a lasting impact on you? Drop their name or a story in the comments to celebrate the educators who helped shape your journey. 👇

Your well-being is the ultimate MVP. Being a student-athlete is a constant balancing act. This Mental Health Awareness Month, remember that your value isn't just defined by your performance on the field or in the classroom — it's defined by how you take care of yourself. It's okay to take a timeout. 💚
