🙏 7th Grade Led Mass

Our 7th graders took the lead at this week’s Mass, sharing their gifts through readings, serving, and leadership. We’re proud of the way our students step forward to serve and help bring our Cathedral community together. 💙

Our newest middle school students are settling into new routines, taking on new challenges, building friendships, and making the most of their first year of Middle School. 📚💙

🎓 Looking Ahead!

On Friday, our middle school students enjoyed wonderful visits from five local Catholic high schools- La Salle, St. Mary’s Academy, Central Catholic, Valley Catholic, and Jesuit!

Our students listened to presentations, played games, and connected with student ambassadors to learn more about each school and the exciting opportunities waiting for them in high school.

Thank you to our visiting schools for spending time with our students and sharing a glimpse of what comes next! At Cathedral, we are proud to prepare our students academically, socially, and spiritually for a successful transition to high school. ❤️

Our 4th graders took the lead at this week’s Mass! 🙏 From our student readers and altar servers to the beautiful singing of Middle School choir members, our students showed what it means to put their faith into action.

✏️📚 Our 2nd Grade Authors Are Already Writing Up a Storm!

The new school year is off to a creative start! Our second graders are putting their imaginations to work, developing their writing skills, and finding their voices as young authors. And they don’t just write—they share and present their work to their peers, building confidence and celebrating each other’s creativity along the way! 💙

Our Pre-K students are settling into the school year making new friends, learning to play cooperatively, exploring, and discovering something new each day. We love watching our youngest students learn and grow!

💙 Buddies Are Back!

Our 1st and 5th grade buddies met for the first time and spent time getting to know one another! At Cathedral, buddies play, learn, pray, and grow together throughout the year- and even attend Mass together.

We love watching these special friendships grow! 🐾✨

🤖🐾 Collaboration + STEM in 3rd Grade!

Our 3rd graders put their collaboration skills to work with a fun STEM challenge: creating a class mascot as a team! Each group chose an animal, worked together to decide how to build it, and gave their creation a name.

Students practiced communication, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork all while bringing their ideas to life! 🐾✨
