The goal of this training is to reduce burnout, improve retention, and enhance outcomes for diverse youth, adults, and families.

✨ Collaborative Problem Solving: Essential Foundations
Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) is an approach that helps adults shift toward the compassionate mindset and philosophy that kids do well if they can.

✨ The Neurobiology of Trauma and Attachment: A Brain-based Approach to Healing Relationships
This two-part training will offer contemporary insights on the neurobiological impacts of relationships with a focus on the effects of trauma on development over the course of the lifetime.

Come join this "Culturally Responsive Supervision" training from us and the Oregon Alliance!

This Latine-centered training and its follow-up consultations will equip supervisors and managers with trauma-informed, multicultural, and social justice–oriented supervision skills.

This includes strengthening reflective supervision practices, supporting bilingual and bicultural staff, and promoting equitable, identity-affirming care for all individuals and communities served.

We would like to take a moment to highlight our trainers for our upcoming training "Affirming LGBTQIA2S+ Identities for Youth": Hannah McCabe and Amanda Mayernik from GOBHI Foster Care!

Hannah is a certified trainer in the Collaborative Problem Solving model. In addition to training on the CPS model, Hannah supports foster parents with important topics such as trauma-informed care, attachment, and supporting youth identity.

Amanda is a Foster Parent Training Specialist who has been with GOBHI since 2024.

We were grateful to join our Alliance member Parrott Creek on a tour of their brand-new residential facility in Clackamas County today!

We were lucky enough to be led by our friend Simon Fulford of Parrott Creek to tour this new space. This residential facility features 3 new dorms, full dining facilities, spaces for education, and much more.

Joined by friends from various Alliance member organizations including Boys & Girls Aid, Jasper Mountain, J Bar J Youth Services, Project Lemonade, and New Narrative, we had an incredible time seeing how Parrott Creek continues to strive to bring comfort, stability, and enthusiasm to their youth. Please join us in congratulating Parrott Creek for their beautiful new space!

We are very excited to host a 3rd iteration of trainer Martin Lockett's well-received "Be Brave, Be Sensitive" training next week on August 27!

Martin is the Director of Cultural Engagement with Lines for Life, where he leads a team of outreach coordinators into communities of color where their mission is to destigmatize mental health, substance abuse and su***de, build skills, and offer culturally responsive resources.

Previous trainings with Martin had folks giving feedback such as:

We were incredibly grateful to attend the "Rooted in Hope UnGala" hosted by Lines for Life and sponsored by Cambia Health Solutions at Topaz Farm last week.

With its delicious farm-to-table courses prepared by renowned chefs Christian and Janelle Ephrem and enthusiastic fundraising opportunities, this Gala was a special time to connect with folks who all hold the same belief: "When communities come together, hope grows".
