๐ช๐Take a peak inside the "Carpa" for a special first look at the upcoming production of Marigolds y Memorias. ๐ฏ๏ธ๐ต๏ธ
It's the Centerpiece Theatrical Attraction of the 2026 Milagro Central Eastside Mu***os Celebration!
Marigolds y Memorias is an original devised production inspired by the traveling carpa tradition, in which humor, music, and storytelling come together in a vibrant theatrical journey. Guided by their ancestors, a younger generation rediscovers the heart of Dรญa de Mu***os, the meaning behind each of its elements, from candles and marigolds to ofrendas and cherished recuerdos. Through song, dance, and short theatrical vignettes, an altar gradually takes shape as an act of remembrance and cultural inheritance, inviting audiences to consider how traditions are taught, how memory is kept alive, and what is carried forward when we share rituals across generations.
