Fri, Oct 2nd in Seattle! Lookin’ forward to heading up north to spin at the Alibi Room, along with the homie DJ Mullet. Bringing a few cases of 45s with me for this dance party… some Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, RnB and feel-good jams.
Alibi Room (located downtown at 85 Pike Street) is an intimate, speak-easy style restaurant & bar, nestled in the cobblestone Post alley (near the Gum Wall) below Pike Place Market. 10pm/21+/No cover. LFG! 💃🎶🕺🪩

I got a million stories. In 2018 we were in New York to debut the Wicked Wednesday documentary at the NYC Hip-Hop film festival. Before the event began we decided to grab a bite to eat at The Corner Social on 126th and Lenox in Harlem. Lo and behold, as soon as we step in the restaurant, who do I see sitting in the back enjoying a meal… it’s the legendary Eric B of “Eric B and Rakim!” I patiently waited for him to finish his lunch, and as he exited the building I politely waved him down and introduced myself.
I don’t really get “star struck” often, but c’mon… it’s not everyday that you have a chance encounter with Eric B while in Harlem. Hell yeah I’m asking for a flick! And Eric was gracious enough to oblige.
At the end of the day, I will always be a fan of this culture, and will always show respect to the legends who paved the way for what I do. Thanks Eric for your graciousness. It was a pleasure to meet you, and thank you for all your contributions to the culture.🙏 Keep keepin’ on.✌️
