Our weekend weather will turn cloudy tomorrow, with rain arriving during the afternoon. Cooler temperatures will bring a feel of October, instead of mid-September, to the air.

Drought conditions have worsened in the past week, with the Midcoast now considered Extreme. Last weekends rain only brought moisture to the top layer of soil with very dry soil still persisting from 16-40" below the surface. Fortunately, we should see above normal precipitation this winter and hopefully bring an end to the drought by 2027.
Rain on the way, but not nearly enough. It'll end after midnight with sunshine returning for Friday.
