educational outreach that helps people laugh, connect, and thrive together. Guided by a diverse and dedicated Board of Directors, we work tirelessly to advance our mission, vision, and strive to make Portland comedy undeniable! Our Mission:
To transform and enrich the lives of performers and audiences through comedy. We address the ongoing needs of the community and its diverse perspectives through dynamic shows and community outreach events—creating equity across our organization and beyond while providing opportunities for performance, education, and laughter. An Update from Kickstand Comedy in the Park HQ 🚨
Although it would have been lovely to see all our Comedy in the Park supporters one more time, we just couldn’t get the stars to align for our season wrap party. We hope to see you all at Laurelhurst Park next summer 🌲

Comedy in the Park Wrap Party Postponed
We are shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of a beloved member of the Portland stand-up community.
At this time it feels appropriate to give ourselves and each other space to process and grieve.
The wrap party planned at Desert Island Studios will be postponed until September 26th. We look forward to celebrating with you then.

The Kickstand Comedy in the Park Wrap Party is this Saturday at Desert Island Studios and it’s free. So just like every weekend this summer get back on your bike and ride down, maybe don’t necessarily spread out a blanket… well, you know what, f**k it, spread out a blanket, get a drink, listen to DJ Samsan spin vinyl, and laugh at least one more time this summer.

The LGBTQ+ improv jam welcome all PDX improv students and performers identifying as LGBTQ+ to get reps on stage, practice their scene work, and meet folks in the community. All levels welcome!

At 7:00 it’s Complete Non-Cents with Leave a Penny,
tonight featuring Oprah’s Book Club!
Complete Non-Cents is a rotating funhouse of outrageous
characters, high-energy thrills, and twists and turns you’ll
be begging to ride again and again.
Then at 8:30 it’s Ta**us Season at the Astrolo-Show!
It’s SATYRday Nite! BYO turkey leg and bunch o’ grapes as
we luxuriate in the earthy psyche of the Zodiac’s hippie
aunt—the Ta**us—to explore the traits you love
(and love to hate).
And at 10pm it’s HONK’s Bachelorette Party!
