None of us can truly be free until we’re all free, and securing the genuine freedom of one group will never be an attack on another. Being against the actions of the Israeli government or any authoritarian regime is not the same as being against the people it’s choosing to represent poorly.

This is a little reminder that, while the work I create is meant to be a break from the tough moments and challenges of life, a nervous system reset, and a moment away, it’s not meant to serve as a means to avoid them altogether, or pretend that our reality isn’t what it is.

Everyone deserves to have the freedom to enjoy the beauty shared here. Everyone deserves the right to live, be healthy, have a place to call home, have access to food and water, and know that the lands around them won’t be sold off for profit in the pocket of another billionaire who couldn’t care less if the world burned to the ground.

There has to be a balance between taking care of ourselves and looking out for others. We have to speak up and stand for what is right, in whatever way we are each able to, when the moment calls for it.

As we approach the mid-term elections here in the US, I want to remind you that the only thing that has truly gotten cheaper under this administration is the value of human life, and that cannot continue. We cannot let history continue to repeat itself.

We have to keep helping and protecting our neighbors, keep protecting our public lands, and our fundamental human rights. We have to use our voice through whatever means available to us.

You can find the courage to speak up, the courage to stand up for what’s right. You’re not alone ❤️🫂
