A bridal bouquet is so much more than a bouquet of flowers.

It is the colors, textures and style of the event, distilled into a handheld bundle of floral magic. Each element is carefully chosen, coddled and composed by the floral team, then handed off to the bride in a *this is it* moment. It is the manifestation of many months, perhaps years, of dreaming up the look and feel of The Big Day.

"The zipper on my dress ended up breaking an hour before the ceremony so I was stitched into it and the fit wasn’t quite perfect - but carrying your florals down the aisle and having your work as a backdrop while saying my vows made me feel so beautiful and connected to the moment."

We’re so grateful for the clients who let us shine and play, trusting us to bring their visions to life.

If you’ve visited Tandem, then you know that their coffee, their team and their vibes are top-notch.

Our partnership with Tandem originated nearly a decade ago with John selling wreaths at the newly opened bakery on Congress Street. Today they’re one of our favorite stops on our round of deliveries, where our weekly arrangements are always met with a warm welcome and kind words.

We’re always open to expanding our roster of accounts and connecting with businesses who love this vibrant, creative community as much as we do. Reach out to John to discuss florals for your business, customized to your budget and your space.

Still enchanted by this vernal nest created for Evening of Wonder .mechanics last month. I reused a lot of retained and dry materials to create the overall structure, and inserted just the right touch of spring flowers bursting to life through the brush. I really appreciated this cause for creation and it reminded me that winter was indeed on its way out and soon the world would be green again.

Thanks for for the portraits 💚

PSA: MOTHER'S DAY IS COMING

Don't forget to order for next week!

Our team member Bethany Hayes-Chute nailed her interpretation of Alex Katz's "October 2002" for Art in Bloom Portland Museum of Art this year. The composition served as the primary inspiration, and the arrangement was filled in with a multitude of textures and flowers for the eyes to feast upon. What's your favorite element in the piece?

Working on Nikki + Tom's spooky season wedding was a lot of fun and so refreshing at the end of a busy wedding season. Our goal was to bring fresh beauty to work in harmony with the skeletons, glittery spiders, and pumpkins. At first I was unsure of how everything would come together, but their devotion to the theme really inspired us (how many weddings have psychics available for the guests!?!).

The ceremony leaned more into classy elegance, with draped plum-colored fabric and rich fall flowers swaying in the breeze.

The reception was much more Halloween-oriented with all the decor you could want. It was fun to work with the other vendors to find just the right spot for the macabre details. Personally, I ended up really liking the flower arrangements designed into real pumpkins. They really added a richness to the look.

So, in short, we love clients with personality and the desire to make their big day distinctly theirs. What theme would you want for your fantasy wedding?
