Today we’re checking out the oldest flower shop in Portland: Kern Park Flower Shoppe with JO 🍓⛓️💥Portland, Oregon 💐 Family owned and serving the city for generations, this little shop is a Portland classic!

Locals and visitors, we have some important travel info for you. Starting Friday, September 11 at 10pm, I-5 Southbound will be completely closed for all hours of the day between I-405 and I-84 through early October for essential roadwork. Here is what you need to know before you head out:
-Heading South? Expect full closures on I-5 SB, but one lane will remain open to the Broadway/Weidler exit for access to the Rose Quarter, Moda Center, and Oregon Convention Center (see map on slides 2-3 of this post).
-Heading North? I-5 NB remains open at all times.
Planning Ahead: Give yourself extra travel time, check your navigation apps before leaving, and consider taking alternate routes or public transit (like MAX!).
There is so much fun happening in Portland over the next several weeks and we don’t want this to hamper any plans. We’ll get through this! Please plan your routes before you leave and allow a little extra time. Thank you!
CAW CAW! Giant crows have taken over the Rose City! The is a public art trail celebrating the upcoming film “Wildwood” from Portland-area animation studio .
Find and enjoy 30 giant hand-painted statues across Portland, most of which are located throughout downtown Portland. All the exciting details, including the official app and crow locations, can be found on the channel.

Portland is known as the Rose City, but the beautiful Pacific Northwest sure can grow plenty of other gorgeous flowers! End of Summer Bucket List: The Troll Bridge! You can find it just outside of Portland, a few minutes past the Sauvie Island Bridge. Type “16498 NW McNamee Road” into your map app and you’ll find it. Don’t forget to bring your own troll to add to the fun!
