If you’re in the stock market, which I hope you are with an appropriate percentage of your net worth, you must participate properly for your investment timeline & risk tolerance. “Risk Tolerance” is an interesting term, because people’s risk tolerance varies based on many variables such as age, net worth, investment experience, employment status, politics, the economy and other tangible factors and experiences in your life. An individual’s upbringing and parents have a huge influence, as does their coworkers, friends and media… Don’t allow these to throw you off of your financial planning game!! You shouldn’t listen to just anyone on the internet either…become educated and find some trusted professionals to help you with your financial, tax and legal needs.
