Poughkeepsie Farm Project

Bulk harvesting is back, baby! We’re excited to get a few thousand pounds of sweetie p’s (aka sweet potatoes) out of the ground next Wednesday. This is a great beginner-friendly, group activity! We’ll be fishing for these all day so if you can spare an hour or 3, come down and bring a friend.
Morning and afternoon shifts available!
Open to everyone.

The food harvested will be cured for a few weeks and then be distributed to CSA members, donation partners & put in storage coolers for distribution all winter!

On stage: Not Tuna at 12, a salsa lesson with Lauren Kaplan at 1, Vassar Jazz Combos at 2, a DJ and our compost parade at 3, and Pulso de Barro at 4.

Fifteen local makers, food trucks, four sets of live music, and a tractor full of compost, and twelve acres that grew more than 160,000 pounds of food last year and sent 44,197 pounds of it to Hudson Valley neighbors facing food insecurity.

One ask: we need volunteers. A morning shift, an afternoon shift, or a couple of hours in between all help, and we'll match you to something that fits. If you've been looking for a way into the farm, this is the easiest one all year. DM us if you're available!

It's hard to believe, but it's already Harvest Fest time!

Saturday, October 3, 12-5 PM at the farm. Live music all day on two stages, headlined by Pulso de Barro! Food and drink vendors, a makers market full of local artisans, kids activities, pick your own flowers, and more.

This is a pay-what-you-choose event. $10 is our suggested donation, but come regardless. Everyone is welcome at the farm.
