We need one another! Sundays are a day to connect with our people, enjoy time spent worshiping our Creator together and growing more in love with Him ❤️

We continued our series on Counter Culture this week learning about Biblical Manhood. Pastor Chip encouraged men and boys of all ages to study and live according to the Word of God. Only then can the lies of the world can be easily detected.

Don't worry ladies, next week is on Biblical Womanhood!

Well, the Great Grill OUT turned into a Great Grill IN...but was nothing short of amazing!

The evening was complete with good food, inflatables, games, giveaways & fellowship!!

Thank you to all our staff & volunteers to made this incredible event possible. FBCPS loves Powder Springs ❤️ What a joy it is to love on our church and our community in the name of Jesus!

🌭 The Great Grill Out is almost here!

Join us this Wednesday from 5:00–8:00 PM for one of our favorite community events of the year at First Baptist Powder Springs!

Come hungry, bring your family, and invite a friend. We’ll have:

🌮 Food trucks (available for purchase)

🎈 Inflatables & games for the kids

🤝 A great opportunity to connect with friends and neighbors

🅿️ Parking Update: To make accessible parking closer to the event, handicap-accessible parking will be reserved behind the Christian Life Center (CLC), adjacent to the Green Space. Our parking team will direct you when you arrive, and golf carts will be available to help anyone who needs assistance. Please note that our regular handicap parking lot will be reserved for volunteer parking during the event.

☀️ If the weather’s clear, we’ll enjoy everything outside as planned.
🌧️ If it rains, no worries—we’ll move the fun inside to the Christian Life Center (CLC).

Same great food. Same great people. Same great time.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for.... PROMOTION SUNDAY!

Yesterday, kids moved up! We celebrated with ice cream sundaes 🍨 😋 A sweet start to a new sunday school class, a new school year and all of the ways we are expectant for God to show up this year!

If you missed it, Pastor Chip began a brand new series called "Counter Culture," reminding us to be counter cultural in the way we live. Romans 12 tells us to not "be conformed, but be transformed."

We are praying for that transformation as we enter new beginnings! Please join us in prayer as we lift up all students, teachers, faculty, administration and parents as a new school year begins. 🏫 📚

Remember that our lunch for Families of Foster Care and Adoption is THIS Sunday, August 2nd right after our second service!

A new school year means new classrooms, new teachers, and a sweet way to celebrate!

Join us Sunday, August 2 at 9:30 & 11:00 AM for Promotion Sundae! Our Preschool, Elementary, and Youth will move up to their new classes, meet their new teachers and leaders, and kick off a brand-new year of growing together. 🙌

And of course, we’re celebrating with build-your-own ice cream sundaes! 🍦🍒🍫
