Job responsibilities include -

-Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
-Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
-Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
-Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
-Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
-Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
-Keep logs on work and issues
-Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

Minimum Qualifications

-Minimum 5 years experience in auto repair facility
-Good driving record
-Valid Drivers License
-Valid State Inspector's license
-Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
-Strong work ethic with attention to detail
-Ability to use hand and power tools
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-Ability to bend at knees/waist
-Ability to lift upwards of fifty pounds
-Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
-Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
-Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
-Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.

-Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacement, and basic fluid services.
-Drive vehicles into and out of service bays in a safe and timely manner.
-Completing all required documentation to keep in compliance with policy and procedures.
-Maintaining a clean work space and personal appearance while performing services.

Minimum Qualifications
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-High School Diploma or GED
-Previous work experience in an auto repair facility, or auto repair classes
-Good driving record
-Valid Drivers License
-Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
-Strong work ethic with attention to detail
-Ability to use hand and power tools
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-Ability to bend at knees/waist
-Ability to lift upwards of fifty pounds
-Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
-Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
-Demonstrate effective use of provided technology equipment
