Running a food business is hard when you have nowhere to put the food.

If you need commercial space to hold cold or dry storage, NoCo has you covered.

Every monthly plan comes with a unit of cold or dry storage, with more available as you grow.

Room to hold it, room to make it. And plenty of room for growth. That's the point: Space for you to grow.

One of the first questions we hear: "Do I need my own license to use the kitchen?"

Short answer, yes. Here is how it works.

NoCo is home to more than 25 food businesses, each running independently.

We provide the house. You bring the expertise and your own license.

Which license you need depends on the type of business you run, and we are happy to point you in the right direction.

We're not just a kitchen for monthly members. We work with community partners to help them educate the public and meet their goals.

This week, UA Cooperative Extension used NoCo Community Kitchen to host a two-day class, giving participants hands-on training in a professional kitchen space.

Partnerships like this are what make NoCo more than a rental facility. It's a shared resource for food education across our community.

The Cottage Food Program is a great way to get started. It's how a lot of food businesses take their first step.

But most makers eventually outgrow it.

Maybe you want to grow your revenue.
Maybe you are ready to work bigger events, or sell products the program doesn't allow.

When you hit that ceiling, a commissary kitchen is the natural next step.

That's where NoCo comes in. Licensed space, commercial equipment and room to grow, without the cost of building your own.

Signs it might be time: you're turning down orders, running out of counter space, or bumping up against what your home kitchen is allowed to produce.

This is where your next batch gets made.

Six burners, two gas ovens, a griddle and a charbroiler, (and so much more) all ready when you are.

No home-stove bottlenecks, no waiting on one oven to free up.

Just room to cook at the scale your business needs.

Our kitchen members reserve both the time and equipment they need in the kitchen so it's available when they need it. And when they're ready for more prep or storage space, we've got them covered.

A shared kitchen exists to grow businesses beyond it. That’s what NoCo Community Kitchen was built for.

Mercy Clark catered NoCo’s grand opening nearly three years ago. This month, Gingerly Catered moves into a full cafe space at Espire Sports, built through word of mouth, reinvestment and a team she’s growing with her.

Watching a business outgrow the kitchen means the kitchen did its job. Read her story at the link in bio.
