We end where I started taking photos. I stopped at the post office to set up my camera away from the crowds.
This is the James A. Farley Post Office, attached to Moynihan Train Hall. It opened in 1914 as the city's main post office and is a beautiful example of Beaux-Arts architecture. I love the ornate plaster ceilings inside.

Even more people of New York.
Deliveries, bikes, tourists, people heading somewhere, people trying to get somewhere else. There’s always something happening on the streets of New York.

There’s something about walking around NYC and catching little glimpses into people’s lives. I think that’s one of my favorite things about the city.

I don't think I've ever seen so many people going in so many different directions at once. I could barely get down the sidewalk!

Chelsea has to be the contemporary art capital of the world. I spent so long just wandering around the galleries there and honestly could've stayed for hours.

I love just how many different kinds of people you run into in New York. You can walk past someone rushing home from work, someone selling poems from a typewriter, and a hundred other little lives happening all around you.

I love the streets of New York, they are so absolutely stunning to walk through as tall buildings of brick and glass surround you.
I especially like how in this set you can see both old and new construction.
I love like how NYC embraces it's past.

Pigeons are the real residents of New York lol.
But I think the second photo is probably what makes NYC feel like NYC to me. One person confidently strutting through an almost completely empty street, surrounded by all this mishmash of new and old architecture. You almost never see a street this empty, and I love how it makes the city feel like it was built for people rather than cars.

The Empire State Building really does just loom over the city. You’ll be walking around and suddenly there it is between the buildings. I liked the last photo in this set with the Penn 11 entrance, I think it fits.

Last set from Princeton.
This is the Princeton Cathedral and it's absolutely stunning and the peak of Gothic architecture for me. Wish I could take you all inside that day as the stained windows cast light of many colors inside and it's absolutely breathtaking.
