In honor of the second week of class ending, we’re going to end off our / Footnotes - Off the Staff series with our Tenor 1s!
Starting with Sophia, after reunions and a backpacking trip with OA, Sophia spent most of the summer in the DC area working for the DOD ! Afterward, she went on a trip with her family in the Dolomites before coming back to sweet home Alabama. Her favorite parts of this summer were having lots of lovely visitors in DC, shenanigans in Shenandoah, kickboxing classes, long walks with friends, and consuming an egregious amount of s’mores.

Morgan spent his summer interning and teaching music at an arts non-profit in Connecticut called INTEMPO. While off the clock, Morgan attended concerts in the area, put on a fundraising recital, and suffered through World Cup traffic. He ended the summer at home in AZ, where he avoided the 116 degree weather by escaping to the mountains for a much needed break. Morgan will treasure (hide in a very deep drawer) the amazing portrait his students drew.

Did you know that the Princeton Footnotes performed on live national television?
We competed on Season 4 of NBC’s The Sing-Off - the a ca****la competition show that helped launch groups like Pentatonix into the spotlight. The Sing-Off brought some of the best collegiate and professional a ca****la groups in the country onto one stage. We were one of only two collegiate groups selected that season. From learning new choreography to performing in front of a national audience, it’s a moment we’re still proud of over a decade later!
Now we’re looking for the next class of Footnotes to carry that legacy forward!
Open House: September 13th, 4:30 PM — 300 Walker Hall
Auditions: September 14th–16th
Apply using the link in our bio; we can’t wait to meet you!
