We’re delighted to welcome Hugh Morris, Director of the Royal School of Church Music, to the United States this October for a special gathering with the RSCM America community.

Join us on Thursday, October 22 at 4:00 pm at historic Christ Church (Episcopal) in Alexandria, Virginia.

Hugh will share reflections on RSCM today and look ahead to its future as the organization approaches its centenary in 2027. His remarks will be followed by a Q&A moderated by RSCM America President Jason Overall, and we’ll conclude with a festive w**e and cheese reception.

Directors, organists, choristers, clergy, and all who are interested in the work and future of church music are warmly invited to join us.

Announcing our 2027 Music Director and Course Dates! 🎉🎼
We are thrilled to share that RSCM West 2027 will be held July 26-August 1, 2027 in Tacoma, WA and will be led by Music Director Glenn Stroh. Registration opens November 1, 2026!
Glenn Stroh is a conductor, organist, and music educator specializing in the vocal and musical formation of young singers. He serves as Organist and Choirmaster at St. Mark’s School of Texas in Dallas, where he directs a choral program of more than 80 boys across nine grades, emphasizing healthy vocal development, music literacy, and disciplined ensemble singing.
Under Mr. Stroh’s direction, the St. Mark’s Choir has toured extensively, including residencies at Durham Cathedral and Westminster Abbey in 2026. His work with the choir is featured in the Fugue State Films documentary Lighten Our Darkness: Illuminating Choral Evensong, and his choristers have appeared in a nationally broadcast PBS program with John Rutter.
Mr. Stroh holds degrees from Trinity University and the Oberlin Conservatory and received a Fulbright Fellowship for advanced study at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany. He holds Kodály certification with choral emphasis and has served on the faculties of Royal School of Church Music summer courses. We are so excited to have Mr. Stroh with us this summer!
