Captain Prasad and the Jersey Slammers have done it again! Congratulations to the team who went 5-0 at the USTA MS Sectional 7.0 55 and over League Championships over a rainy weekend. Good luck at Nationals.

Thirty two women competed on a balmy and windy morning. We decided to name our teams something related to the approaching Nor’Easter for Fed Cup today. Congratulations to the dark and stormy team: Linda, Deb, Jenn, Lorraine and Jacinta. Not shown: Silvia.

Captain Yoojung Co and her teammates from Straight sets happily display their banner proclaiming Sectional Champions for 3.5 40 and over. Congratulations and good luck at Nationals💪

Both PRC’s 3.5 40 and over men’s and women’s teams accomplished a remarkable feat last weekend at USTA MS Sectional Championships. Both Captains Yoojung Co and team Straight Sets and Prasad Vontipenta and team Jersey Slammers were 5-0 undefeated. Congratulations and good luck as they qualify for Nationals in October.

The Friday Fall Match play was scheduled indoors but we had a fat cup outside because the weather was so lovely. We chose themes of gratitude in honor of all of the victims and service people impacted by 9/11. Congratulations to the team Hope who earned the most points in closely contested matches. Shown are: Suzie, Heather, Gayle, Deb, Chris, MaryBeth. Not shown, Jacinta and Ildiko.
