hi everyone: two announcements! FIRSTLY we understand some of you have been waiting for your orders for a few weeks. Please know we hear you and are working to get orders in as quickly as possible. Things have been wild behind the scenes here but! We are hoping to have orders fulfilled soon! Again we are so so sorry for any delay or inconvenience.

SECONDLY we have two new sales associates! their names are Maybelle (with the stripe down her face) and Doris. They are only three months old so they are not very good at their jobs yet but would love to say hello to you!

also, HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Penny’s memorial gathering at Ogie’s on wednesday. it was such a great time seeing you all and sharing the news about selling our shares.

for now though, it’s back to business! we’ve only sold 204 books this month which is not great! so just reminding you why we’re here in the first place haha

also, we are closing at 3pm today for a family gathering. we’re nit saying no to things anymore :) thank you!!

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME! we are selling our worker-owner shares in Heartleaf Books. if someone(s) want to take over the co-op, we would love to come to an agreement and transfer cooperative power to new worker-owners. if not, we will close at the end of our lease in January 💜 want to talk? get n touch here in the dms or by email. we are accepting offers until 10/16/26 :) this has been the best adventure of our lives and we’re so grateful no matter what happens.
