We had a great afternoon learning the traditional craft of broom making. It was fascinating to watch a bundle of broomcorn gradually take shape into a hand-tied whisk broom as each participant learned the techniques and created one of their own.
Many thanks to instructors Cutter Hutton and Ayumi Kodama for sharing their expertise, Kristen, Makerspace Extraordinaire, for connecting us with them, and to everyone who joined us for making it such an enjoyable workshop.
