Week 3 of Beyond U summer camp was all about fun and fitness! Students engaged in physical activities like racing go carts and completing treetop obstacle courses. They also went to a WooSox Game, and reached for the sky at Urban Air.

Week two of Beyond U Summer Camp took students out on the water where they had the incredible opportunity to attend Save The Bay Camp. This program doesn’t only include a fun week of swimming, boat excursions and working with aquatic life, but also teaches students the importance of conservation and wildlife in Narragansett Bay.

Special thanks to Save The Bay - Narragansett Bay for making this week possible and giving our students an experience they’ll remember for a lifetime!

Week one of Beyond U Summer camp was great fun! Students participated in nature and water exploration activities by visiting the beach, kayaking, visiting Water Wizz, and when the weather didn't cooperate, they went to Sky Zone!

Last Thursday, we celebrated UCAP students at our annual Closing Ceremony event signaling the end of the 2026 school year. We are so proud of every student and what they accomplished this year! The future is bright for every UCAP student!

Special thanks to Paula DeBlois, Fund for UCAP Board Chair, who addressed our students and encouraged them to remember the lessons and come back to UCAP if they need help or advice. We honored Lori Autiello-Daignault, School Counselor at Nathanael Greene Middle School, with the Friend of UCAP Award for her involvement with UCAP and identifying students who would benefit from attending The UCAP School.

Last week, we celebrated the end of the school year the way UCAP does best—our annual trip to Spring Lake! What a fun day filled with swimming, playing games and enjoying the sunshine!

Last week, our 8th grade field trip took students all the way to Washington D.C. Students and their chaperones were able to see history come to life at “The People’s House”, Arlington Cemetery, The Capitol Building, The Holocaust Museum, Mount Vernon, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and many more sites and memorials!
